a) When Visiting the Website
When you visit our website wavel.et, information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the browser used on your device. This information is temporarily stored in a log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

- IP address of the requesting computer,
- Date and time of access,
- Name and URL of the retrieved file,
- Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
- Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The mentioned data will be processed by us for the following purposes:

- Ensuring a smooth connection of the website,
- Ensuring comfortable use of our website,
- Evaluation of system security and stability as well as
- For other administrative purposes.

b) When Using Our Contact Form
For any questions, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. A valid email address is required so that we know who the request came from and to be able to respond to it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

The data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on your voluntarily given consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

3. Disclosure of Data
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if:

- You have given your explicit consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR,
- The disclosure is necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data,
- There is a legal obligation for disclosure according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, as well as
- It is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.

4. Cookies
We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not harm your device, do not contain viruses, trojans, or other malware.

a) Tracking Tools
The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the ongoing optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

i) HubSpot
We use HubSpot, a service of HubSpot Inc., USA. HubSpot is a software solution with which we cover various aspects of our online marketing. These include:

- Email marketing (newsletters and automated mailings, e.g., to provide downloads)
- Reporting (e.g., traffic sources, accesses, etc.)
- Contact management (e.g., user segmentation & CRM)
- Landing pages and contact forms

Our sign-up and contact forms allow visitors to our website to learn more about our company, download content, and provide their contact information as well as other demographic information.

The information collected by HubSpot is stored on HubSpot's servers. We can use them to contact visitors to our website and determine which services of our company are of interest to them. All information we collect is subject to this privacy policy. We use all information collected solely to optimize our marketing.

ii) Microsoft Teams
For communication with our customers and partners, we use Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams is a service of Microsoft Corporation, USA. The use of Microsoft Teams is based on a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR to improve and simplify communication with customers and partners.

iii) Mailchimp
We use the services of Mailchimp to send you our newsletter. Mailchimp is a service of The Rocket Science Group LLC, USA. The use of Mailchimp is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time.

6. Data Subject Rights
You have the right:

- In accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data, if they were not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about their details;
- In accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to request the rectification of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us without delay;
- In accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
- In accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you oppose its erasure and we no longer need the data, but you need it for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
- In accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another controller;
- In accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent given to us at any time. This means that we are not allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent for the future, and
- In accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or workplace or our company headquarters.

7. Right to Object
If your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which is implemented by us without specifying a particular situation.

8. Data Security
We use the common SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser during the website visit. Usually, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether a single page of our website is transmitted encrypted is indicated by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

This privacy policy is currently valid and has the status of August 2024. Due to the further development of our website and offers above it or due to changed legal or official requirements, it may be necessary to change this privacy policy.
